- Set up recycling bins all around the school. We have set out more than ten bins. In each spot of the campus, there is one visible bin in sight. We have also been promoting the bins, and now finally they are starting to fill up with useful, recyclable materials.
- Make Earth Hour bigger and better. We had two assemblies: one for middle school and one for high school. In it, we showed a video which we made and incorporated other clips into. In the assembly, we also shared inspiring excerpts of a book called Hot, Flat, and Crowded.
- Purchase recycling bins for paper. During Earth Hour, we sold t-shirts. Per t-shirt we only made a few riyals of profit, but it was enough to purchase paper recycling bins for the entire school.

TWAC
1. We invite every school in the world to join us on March 28th and turn off ALL POWER!. At AIS-R we will be turning off as many lights, projectors, computers, coffee pots, photocopiers (and the list goes on) for one hour as possible. In Saudi Saturday is a school day so it is easy for us to participate. If this is a weekend for you, consider doing it on Friday, March 27th.
2. We will teach our students the importance of this issue and how we are all connected when it comes to Global Warming.
3. We will sell T-Shirts promoting the cause.
All proceeds go to World Wildlife Fund
3. View the Earth Hour video link and mission statement and you will understand why we are doing this. Please get involved!

4. Please add a comment below and let us know what you are doing for Earth Hour.
